The story flowed nicely amongst the characters, creating the relationships that give this story a great amount of strength and depth.This story was written well and very engaging. I love the fact how the fictional events portrayed in the book tie in with actual events of the past century , such as WWI and WWII. Even if you aren't interested in rootkits, this portion of the book is something I would recommend to anyone getting started in related fields, like reverse-engineering or exploit development. Great read of a man ahead of his time. Your child will absorb everything with ease and without boredom.One thing, though. Each new concept is well-explained and builds upon the material the reader has already learned. Can't wait for an encore and some children's books for the family. When I brought the book to a college planning night at school, other parents were interested in getting the book.While the bulk of this book gGasché probes that anthropology by situating Bataille's thought with respect to the quatrumvirate of Schelling, Hegel, Nietzsche, and Freud. He begins by showing what Bataille's understanding of the mythological owes to Schelling. Drawing on Hegel, Nietzsche, and Freud, he then explores the notion of image that constitutes the sort of representation that Bataille's innovative approach entails. Gasché concludes that Bataille's mythological anthropology takes on Hegel's phenomenology in a systematic fashion. By reading it backwards, he not only dismantles its architecture, he also ties each level to the preceding one, replacing the idealities of philosophy with the phantasmatic representations of what he dubs "low materialism." Phenomenology, Gasché argues, thus paves the way for a new "science" of phantasms..
