You will be well prepped for the oral, and there are questions at the end of each chapter.. Carter's tough minded, get it done now attitude and his dealings with celebrity clients (with a bit of theatrical deal making thrown in for good measure) makes for great stories that will grip your attention all the way through the book.. I sure wouldn't live anywhere near the border. I read it and found the book severely lacking in any type sugestions other than strong-arming others into feeling sorry for you. Here he lays out some of the training systems he used to build that strength. A waste of time. The book is written by a man who shows great strength in the things that are possible-but you also see the side that we all know so well. There are contributions by many famous living scientists, including James Lovelock, Niles Eldredge, Jan Sapp, which illuminate her passion, explore her arguments and debates with other leading thinkers, such as Stephen Jay Gould and, in the no-holds barred face-off with Richard Dawkins in the so-called "Battle of Balliol" at Oxford.I would strongly recommend this book as a "must read" for anybody interested in science, culture, new ideas, female liberation, and just about anything else that is capable of shaking off the complacency of prevailing orthodoxy to open our eyes to the true wonder of this fabulous world, and its diversity of life..
