This review is for the recorded version by Random House Audio. Together with photographer Steven Sebring, they have produced a book of 1,000 poses.The premise is interesting enough for me to get it. However, when this book was read to a group of us by another adult, I discovered so many new things I had not seen before. It would be more accurate to say that the presentation is somewhere between SciAm and an undergraduate stat mech textbook. If you have Panic disorder, it only provides more dark emotions and a cycle of failures.. And the author treats this immense theme with dignity, feeling, restraint, and wisdom. Her father was ignored when he complained and sent letters; but when he decided in 1945 to sue the school system, it was about more than just Sylvia and her family. He was big and powerful with a very intimidating way about him. Out of the 1,000 poses, there are probably less than 10 poses from real life. (She's also forced to read the Vampyr book given to her in Season 1, now that Giles isn't around to do her reading for her.) It's forced poor demons into menial labor jobs.
