Wow! I loved this book. . I don't know how their faith survived. This writer does so much research & incorporates the history lesson so seamlessly into the novel. I am Catholic (raised Baptist), & it was hard to know the history as it happened. You really care about them. However, it is difficult to say that you have enjoyed a story that is so painful & true. These are things I never knew that Jews endured& survived. What more could you want from a book? Beautifully written. I'm thankful to the writer for opening our "Eye" to things that are never spoken about. You feel the characters' painIn parallel stories set in 15th century Portugal and the 1990's, two women explore their identities. Set against historical events, The Blind Eye creates a sweeping narrative about a family expelled from Spain connecting forward across tine to a modern woman of Cuban descent.I bought this book because includes Carlos Castaneda in the title, but is not even close.The book is just trying to make you think if what Carlos Castaneda writes is real or fake.Does it matter if it's true or fake, even if the books from Castaneda helped you in certain way? His book are real in other realities.. Very detailed workbook! I like that it has a pretty good many pages and my daughter is very excited about this years school work! Thank you!. This is unfortunate, as the title of this book is thus misleading. I would have loved to have worked with several of the techniques described but don't have near enough time nor patience to copy 50+ pages of source code in by hand. I will still color it and share with my co workers. You just don't get tired at looking at them.I have read this book many times to my sons. He does something no one else has done and offers ideas on resolutions to this widely unknown issue. Would love to hear from him. More a booklet than a book, but inspiring and well worth the read. A comparison of the wings comes next. If anything, this book is to kind to us as a species so this chapter reminds us of something about us that has had great influence on the earth system. good.
